I’m a writer and artist with a particular interest in stories that explore how humans can restore our rightful belonging within nature.

I also write vulnerable personal essays about healing and spirituality via Substack (Healing Aloud).

Formerly, I worked as the deputy editor of Grid Magazine in Philadelphia, working with writers to strengthen their stories about critical environmental issues in Philly. I also copy edited and fact-checked the magazine.

I also worked as the deputy editor of the Philadelphia Citizen, writing and editing stories that inspired and equipped Philadelphians to engage more deeply with their communities and local government.

Before that, I covered greater Philadelphia’s food and agriculture scene as the associate editor of Edible Philly.

While reporting, I’ve shoveled compost alongside a frantic farmer, been schooled on urban gardening and gentrification by teenagers, and was hand-fed barley dumplings by a former assistant to the Dalai Lama.

You can read many of my stories on this website, my substack, follow me on IG @rewiilding and please do reach out with your thoughts, questions, and story ideas here.
